JUICE – (JUpiter ICy moons Explorer) – is the first large-class mission in ESA’s Cosmic Vision 2015-2025 program. Planned for launch in 2022 and arrival at Jupiter in 2030, it will spend at least three years making detailed observations of the giant gaseous planet Jupiter and three of its largest moons, Ganymede, Callisto and Europa. Prime contractor of the project is Airbus Defence and Space.

Role of Astri Polska in the project:  Within the Juice project Astri Polska will provide the following solutions:

Real Time Simulation (RTS) – a software (a part of bigger system) which will allow to perform a digital validation of Juice spacecraft flight software

Simulation Front End (SimFE) – equipment which will  allow to test electrical systems of the spacecraft before sending it into space.
