(INnovative CLUster on raDIological and Nuclear emerGencies)

The INCLUDING project (INnovative CLUster on raDIological and Nuclear emerGencies) aims to enhance know-how and development of modern training solutions in the domains of preventing and fighting radiological and nuclear threads. The project consortium consists of 15 partners from 10 EU member states bringing together infrastructure, equipment and experts coming from Medical Organizations, Fire Corps, Government Department, Municipalities, Law Enforcement Agencies, Governmental and Civilian Research Institutes, Centers of Excellence, Academia, Industries and SMEs. Far from being a simple aggregation of entities separated geographically and with  complementary expertise, INCLUDING pursues to develop a Federation in which individual Members will cooperate together to provide a common framework to standardize access to their respective facilities, enhance interoperability and to allow a more intensive use of expensive equipment. The solutions and methodology developed within the project will be presented during  a number of trainings and demonstrations organized in different parts of Europe.

Leading goals of the INCLUDING project:

  1. Optimization of resources and expertize sharing through a Pan-European Federated model
  2. To develop a centralized improved management tool for remote booking and utilization of resources in the Federation
  3. To contribute to the development of a common learning framework for RN training also to facilitate the uptake and integration of new technologies and methodologies for practitioners in the radiological and nuclear field
  4. To capitalize results and training facilities developed in previously funded EU and national projects (RAWFIE, CAST, EDEN, CATO, TARGET, IDIRA, and many more)
  5. To capitalize results and training facilities developed in previously funded EU and national projects
