On 26th of June Astri Polska presented its experience and competences in satellite earth observations at “Satellite Forum”. The conference organized by Polish Industrial Development Agency (Agencja Rozwoju Przemysłu) is the biggest satellite event in Poland.
The forum aims to familiarize leading Polish sate-owned companies and state institutions with satellite solutions and services offered by Polish space companies. The event was attended by number of state authorities, such as: Jadwiga Emilewicz – Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economic Development, Tomasz Zdzikot – Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Interior and Administration, Piotr Müller – Head of the Office of the Minister of Science and Higher Education.
The state-owned industry was represented by: PKP Cargo (leading Polish railway logistic company), PGNiG (the leader in the Polish natural gas market) and KGHM Cuprum (R&D center for copper mining).
Astri Polska presented its capabilities in providing Earth observation services for KGHM Cuprum and its solutions for crisis management, dedicated to public services.
